Junior Achievement Fellow Program Members from a variety of Georgia high schools spent a full day in training at the JA headquarters with Atlanta Business RadioX partners Lee Kantor and Stone Payton learning how to create their own radio show and interview business leaders.
On Saturday August 13th, 2011, Atlanta Business RadioX Partners Lee Kantor and Stone Payton and several of their radio show hosts were joined by 11 students in the Junior Achievement of Georgia for a full day training and certification at the Junior Achievement headquarters in Sandy Springs.
The event was held in preparation for a weekly live Internet radio show that the students will host this fall on Atlanta Business RadioX. The show will not only give students the opportunity to work as radio hosts but also to interact with and interview local area business leaders. JA’s Senior Manager Jerrod Compton believes the show will add an exciting new dynamic to the Fellows program and says, “The Business RadioX Host Certification is truly a first step for our JA Fellows to come that much closer to reaching their professional goals and aspirations.”
