Atlanta Business RadioX Launches New Show: Golf Talk with Mike

Atlanta Business RadioX announced today the launch of a new weekly radio show called Accelerator Avenue. The one hour weekly program features founders, owners and operators of small businesses – who have made it “out of the garage” – as they detail their accomplishments and describe the new challenges they face navigating the acceleration phase of business success. Accelerator Avenue is hosted by Bernie Wolford, President of Buckingham Associates, LLC. The first show airs November 12, 2010.

“While the excitement of start-ups understandably receives much attention, companies in the acceleration phase face predictable challenges if they are to achieve the full potential of the product or service they have created,” explains Wolford. “This program is designed to help provide them with much of the information and resources they need to address those challenges.”

Accelerator Avenue airs each Friday from 2 – 3 p.m. EST. Listeners are able to tune in and listen to the show by clicking on the Listen Live button at acceleratoravenue.businessradiox.com. Free podcasts of each episode will be available for download on Apple’s iTunes store.

Each show will cover topics such as bootstrapping, funding options, market penetration, first generation management and staffing. Companies providing services at this stage of business growth may appear alongside accelerator phase company owners as well as business persons who have successfully passed through this challenging stage.

“Providing guidance and structure for these acceleration phase companies is critical in an economy where large companies continue to reduce costs and conduct headcount reduction,” continues Wolford. “The economy of the future will increasingly rely upon these small emerging growth companies to provide new jobs and fuel growth for the next 20-30 years.”

“Adding Accelerator Avenue to our line-up of already compelling talk radio programs provides yet another valuable resource for our expanding community of listeners,” explains Atlanta Business RadioX Producer Lee Kantor. “Packaging and delivering content via internet radio continues to be an ideal medium for business owners looking for new ways to provide targeted content to preferred audiences in a simple and easy to consume format,”
