Gwinnett Lawyer Helping Companies on Business RadioX

DULUTH, GA–(Marketwired – May 18, 2016) –  On May 5, 2016, Gwinnett Business Radio offered a look at the importance of Technology and Intellectual Property law to companies large and small. JoAnn “Jo” Holmes, the founder of HOLMES@LAW offered her insights from nearly 17 years of working in the industry.

After earning degrees from Stanford University and the Emory School of Law, Holmes began her career at the prestigious Atlanta law firm Troutman Sanders. There, she represented a diverse group of clients, including Chick-fil-A, Microsoft and Walmart. During this time, she oversaw IP portfolios in more than 130 different countries.

Holmes told Gwinnett Business Radio her message to companies large and small is simple.

“My job is to be your advisor and bring the judgement of 17 years of practice,” she said, adding she also helps clients to “navigate around risks before they happen.”

Holmes started her own firm — HOLMES@LAW, LLC — in the Lawrenceville area, billing herself as “Your Business Ally.”
