Audio Editor (Part-Time)

Position Summary

This role provides editing for all audio content on multiple radio shows via web-based radio.

Key Responsibilities / Duties

  • Editing shows
  • Optimizing audio files to meet company standards
  • Fixing any problems with audio files
  • Mixing audio for new show intro and outros as needed with Royalty Free Music
  • Sending audio files to clients by daily show deadlines

Qualifications

Work Experience / Knowledge:

  • Minimum 2 years experience with audio editing
  • Familiarity with Wave Pad or equivalent a plus

Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required:

  • Flexibility and the ability to set priorities and work well under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in professional quality audio editing software
  • Ability to work independently and proactively while maintaining a customer service attitude in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Mature judgement, willingness to take responsibility and initiative to make decisions within the scope of responsibilities

Education:

  • College degree and/or equivalent work experience

Additional Information

This is a contract part time role. Primary location is virtual with bi-weekly meetings and/or events at our corporate office in Sandy Springs, GA.

Atlanta’s Best & Brightest Companies To Work For is a yearlong education and celebration program. The program includes Resources, Elite Suite Workshops, Assessment Tools, and the Celebratory Symposium and Luncheon. The Awards competition provides the business community with the opportunity to gain recognition, showcase their best practices and demonstrate why each of them would be an ideal place for employees to work.

Trade Show Radio Broadcasts LIVE from WIT Connect 2013

On June 13, 2013, co-hosts Lee Kantor and Stone Payton were at the Georgia Aquarium, broadcasting live at  WIT Connect where hundreds of Georgia’s leading technology executives and up-and-coming professionals gathered for an entertaining evening of networking and competitive bidding.

WIT Connect is a unique auction-style fundraising event. Proceeds support WIT programming aimed at developing future technology leaders, as well as WIT Foundation philanthropy initiatives like Girls Get IT and grants to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) focused nonprofits and local schools.

Trade Show Radio Broadcasts from the ASTD 2013 Conference

Co-hosts Lee Kantor and Stone Payton were in Dallas, Texas on May 19-22 for the ASTD 2013 International Conference and Exposition. As special guests of TrainingPros, Lee and Stone interviewed speakers, participants and vendors during this multi-day event.

ASTD 2013 is the premier event for workplace learning and development professionals, with more than 9,000 attendees from over 80 countries.
